Sydney Salas is rising talent in the world of Music and Theater Performance. At just the age of 12 years old she is already making waves with a distinctive and powerful voice, stage presence and charismatic light that has captivated audiences making her stand out in the world of music, theater and pageantry. Born and raised in Lighthouse Point, FL Sydney has been signing and performing at an early age, quickly discovering a love for the stage through school musical performances, community theater productions and talent pageant participation.
In the pageant world Sydney is currently a Florida Title holder for the Miss Division in the Cinderella Scholarship Pageant. This being her third title earned, previously holding Florida Cinderella Tot (2017) and Florida Cinderella Miniature Miss (2020). Known for her grace, confidence and commitment to positive representation these pageants have helped her grow into the powerful young teen she is today. Her dedication and passion shines through in her involvement and interviews. As a theater performer, Sydney has brought characters to life in roles such as Ariel in “The Little Mermaid”. Her ability to deeply connect with her roles, coupled with her vibrant stage presence, has made her a favorite in her current performance school BKA in New York. As a board member of the Junior Thespian Troupe in her Ivy League School, Sydney is working her way up to her dream role of performing on Broadway.
As a Chiari Malformation Survivor, Sydney is actively creating awareness and giving support to those who are facing the reality of this medical condition. Having undergo brain surgery herself at 8 years old, Sydney can relate to those who need support. In September 2024 Sydney’s Non-Profit – Chiari’s Little Warriors brought to her community the “2nd Annual Conquer Chiari Walk”. Balancing her passions in music, theater, pageants and volleyball Sydney remains grounded and committed to inspiring others. With a bright future ahead, she’s poised to make an impact across the arts and beyond.
